Delavan is pretty small and can get VERY crowded. Lake Geneva has a speed limit...I'm pretty sure it's like 35 mph...but it's 7 miles long.

I was staying on the lake for summer sales meetings a few summers back and took the Mastercraft up for the kids during the day and it was rough, colddddddddd, and not a lake for go-fasts. My mastercraft actually had the Corvette motor in it and I was told to be careful and watch my speeds.

I would not bother. Go to Lake Michigan. The Chain is NO WAKE because of the high water and floating debris. I have watched telephone poles floating by.

Thanks for all the info!

If you're interested in a fun small lake, try Pewaukee Lake. 5 miles from my house. 6-7 miles long. Lot's of partying, cops know me and they are cool as long as you are. Early and late in day you can go wide open. During the day gets too busy so 50-60 is about it. We camp in the boat, sometimes Friday and Sat night at one of the local bars. Live bands till 2am Sat's. Swimming is warm when hot outside. Enough go-fasts around so you won't get lonely. I'm there several times a season. click on my signature..."Crank it up" and that is on Pewaukee lake.:drink: |
Thanks, DT42 your boat sounds awesome!
