If these motors REALLY produced that much HP then the boat should be running faster than that. I have run a 2001 ACS with the NA volvo/innovation motors in it with volvo drives. After stellings dry exhaust and bottom blue printing, and some tweeking BY innovation we got the boat to 92.8MPH on GPS... Innovation estimated the output at around 650-675 a side... if that has almost 50% more HP then there is something wrong with it..

If your example made 675, and this one actually makes 933 thats 258 hp difference. for round numbers say 300HP. A lot of people believe 15 Hp to get one MPH ( usually at slower speeds we all know this changes drastically at or neat the 100 MPH mark ) but even using this equation, it shows bout a 20 MPH difference. Your example went 92.8MPH this boat has went 114 MPH on GPS...a 21.2 MPH difference. Closer to 12 HP per MPH gain. There isn't "something wrong with it".

You are correct and I stand corrected. His best was 118.

My FACTORT STOCK 2000 33 AVS runs 92 with 560 at the prop on each side. Also documented by Powerboat Mag in 1999 to be able to do the same with the DPX drives. You should be running better than you are with 650+ per side.
