Pontoonboat / work platform

Anybody use a pontoonboat for a work platform to instal scalfolding on to work on boathouse roof etc.. how stable are they? Thanks Pat

I would think not stable enough to put scafolding on unless you are only talking about one layer of it....

we have one at my yacht club for member use. it is very handy for alot of things but the problem it that they are pretty light and movement on the platform tends to shift it around underfoot rather quickly. scafolding . . . yikes . . . that would be pretty scary unless you could really secure it well. even than i'm not so sure. I its your only option i guess it could be done but be careful

We have had some luck with RIB Boats because the tubes keep the boat stable, We have filmed on the water 2 sections
above the deck, I don't know how high you want to go.
