I always stay at the Rio & love it. The rooms are all suites & huge. Even though it's off the strip & I'm never there (lol) I like to spread out. They have a free shuttle that's very convenient & comes about every 15 min - 1/2 hr. that takes you to Harrah's. If you decide to stay there, don't miss their seafood buffet & Voodoo lounge (Take the glass elevator). Remember too, it's caddy corner to the Palms which just added Hugh Heffner's new Playboy club. Should you want to ck that out.....LOL & some of the hottest night clubs if you're into that sort of thing. Ceasar's however, is really nice & one of my favorites to visit every time I'm there. Very beautiful. I've also heard in addition to Blue Man & O that Mystere at Treasure Island or Mirage (can't remember which) is supposed to be fabulous!! Either way, have a great time!!

a friend of ours can get us a creaming deal at the Aladin like 25% of what Rio's costs are so may think bout that also...will let me keep a thicker bank roll !! LMFAO THANKS FOR THE INPUT

Yes it is, I forgot about that & thought it already had been switched. However, it's still a GREAT location on the strip if Bern can get a good deal!! Also, the old San Remo behind the Trop has been switched to the new Hooters Hotel. Might be worth a look see for the birthday boy. Now the largest in the country, if I have my facts straight.....I'm blond, so it's debatable some days.....LOL. Hell, maybe I'll just hook up with slowoutbound's party & celebrate my 40th with they're group if I can't get anyone to go. My 40th is the 12th of July & missed last years trip so am jonesing to go. I think I had to get married or something instead.....LMAO!!! My hubby will be stuck working & don't think can get the time off, but a girl can be hopeful.....LOL.

Maybe I'll try a good bribe. Blond wife partying for her 40th showing off her new twins (& I'm not talking kids....LOL)amongst the other bunnies at the Playboy club or work........mmmmmmmmmmm......... Hey don't tempt me & be careful what you "wish" for....LOL. Unfortunately, your guys dates are too close for when we get back from taking the kids to Disney. My husbands daughter is coming down from N.J. & it's her first trip there...she's 4 & mines 7. Otherwise, I'd be booking my flight & arranging a meeting spot....lol. Then again, you never know.....:evilb: Vegas is "MY" Disney!! I'm usually not hard to find anyway, just head to the nearest Craps, Roulette or Let it Ride table & if I'm in a slot mood it's always my Red, White & Blue 7's no matter what casino I'm in. Thanks for the invite just the same. I'll definitely keep it in mind.

Well you're getting closer to leaving. Have an awesome time!! Where did you end up booking your hotel? By the way, you got the fire under my a$$ to make plans there for my 40th in July. Between you guys talking about it & flight prices now, it was a no brainer. TY!! Guess I'll have to start my own thread to see if there is anyone that might want to join the party so I can put some faces to all the names I talk too..
"40th bd party OSO meet & greet in Vegas" has a nice ring to it....lol. You'll have to give us a full trip report when you get back.
