Boost Power Racing oil pans?
We are installing new oil pans in the BT & were looking at a Gen 5 & 6 Canton 10 qt. pan #18-366. Lead time is a 6 to 8 weeks:( Canton gave me the name of distributors that might have them, none do. When I called Boost to check, they told me how great their pans are. I did a search and their name does not come up on the subject of oil pans so I thought I would check to see if anyone has experience with them. I also heard Baker Engineering is making some nice pans, any of you tried those??

I'd call around the larger engine shops and get a couple used pans if Canton is what you want. Just be very meticulous on the cleaning and you won't have any problems. Try Doller, Cobra, Teague, Crockett, etc, etc. plus the wanted section here. I'm sure you can track down a pair.... Could try Steff's as well: http://www.stefs.com/products/oilpan...etsumppans.htm |
yes I called TP, he was very nice but did not have them. We are working with Tyler and he does not have any either. I was mostly interested in knowing if any one was familiar with Boost's pan, the guy said they are less money and just as good..................
