what boat are you running and out of what port. any new hot rods around this year? we will be in our lipship 38 tg out of grand haven most of the time. hope to every one soon.

Well once again I will be out with the all white Scarab Panther, (WHITE KNUCkLE) out of the Grand Haven.

I am picking up a 21' Chapparall this weekend to beat on this summer. and hope to see everyone soon!

Grand Haven police will have the pleasure of giving me another 5 noise tickets this year I'm sure. Not bad for being pulled over 14 times last year.

Maybe they will start to mess with you guys and leave me alone. (just kidding) If Rookie gets the upgrades done the torch will be passed. Those little shot guns wont do crap.

Hey its not my fault that you are just a little bit behind me and catch all the flack for a loud white boat.

Also I know to shut it down to one engine and close the flaps when I see the Sherrif. DUH!

Rookie, its still to loud with one. I need to paint it all white so they dont recognize me. Once they get you a few times they just keep getting ya.

They still nabbed me going into hanky on one with mufflers closed and packed full of mesh, it was only 92.7db. Your just lucky.

Doesnt help that Jay gets me in trouble for his boat lookin similiar.:D

I was in Traverse City last weekend and those guys are not getting out on the water any time soon. Lots of snow, wind and cold temps. I came home to Ontario to warm up.

Chicken - We'll have some again I'm sure. I was reminded the other day of a story after a long day of drinking Jack in Hanky. The story was that I had my Fountain trailer on three wheels coming around the corner at the public launch to load my boat. I think it was Jay who convinced me I probably shouldn't tow the boat home lololol.:drink:

Looks like most of you are out of the Grand Haven area. Do most of my boating in the St.Joe and South Haven area. Don't make it up that way very often.

We did make it to GH one time last year for the festival, but it was not a great experience. Had some A-holes at the marina, it rained, and broke my top hatch.

Todd same ride as before very nocked the dust off the cover last year due to the new little one hope to be out this year God willing....I'll be runnig out of the DNR launch on lake Mack.

I keep my Powerquest 270 Laser at Skipper Bud's IN/OUT rack storage during the summer in Grand Haven. I hope to get it out of storage next week to shine it up. This weather sucks. I also live in Ada right by Knape and Pettis. I loved to see your 38tg some time. Bring on summer!

we live right down the road from you. we are on honeycreek just north of knapp. we trailer our tg, so watch for us on knapp saturday mornings & saturday nites. i was going to get it out this weekend but i guess i'll wait a week or so.

Chick- The cockpit wiring/rigging is done. I need the seats back, I will have to light a fire under the guy I'm sure. That may require some height adjustment to the bolsters we'll see.

Thought I'd bring this thread back to life...

Lord willing, I'll be ready in 2 weeks with my Active Thunder. I ran it out of the DNR launch quite a bit in Holland last summer, but I was in Grand Haven a lot too.

This year, I will be wherever the police are reasonable :) - I have never been pulled over for noise... but I just repowered the boat with a lot of power and basically redid everything inside and started over. Close to a full re-rig. I'm starting out with CMI sound eliminators to nip the problem in the bud... I hope that's enough!

I here Grand Haven is NOT the place to be so far this spring :mad:
