Can Alpha drive be run either way?
Like Bravo's? just wondering.....
|
No. Dog clutch in the bullet, simple reverse gear, totally different setup than the Bravo.

Try a search in the classifieds for c/r Alpha's, there are complete drives or just lowers there.

I had to do it last year to test some props. Had to have the shifter in rev in the counter. Knuckleheads sent me 2 rh props. So yes you can do it , just not like the bravo.

Do Not D It....it Will Destroy The Drive And You Will Likely Lose Your Prop Too Since It Will Back The Carrier Right Out...

Like I said , i had to to test props for like 5 mins. My drives were old and busted anyway. I don't recommend it. I wouldn't do it on my brand new ones!
