100 octane (unleaded) around here is currently 5.50-5.95 a gallon at the pump.

Maybe de-tune them a little to run on it. I know you have deep pockets, but filling up @ 1350 per will wear on you eventually since you do so much boating, I would think.

On the other hand, it could be worse. Look at the $30,000+ dollar fill-ups that big yachts require.

I assume your MTI hold 270 gal. That will make a fill up about $3000. I know the boat has really big power, but I would think about pulling some boost out of it and run a lower octane. Keep the c16 for running Joey Padavono.

wow and I was talking to a friend this morning on how much gas is and how much it will cost me to run the boat all weekend long.....I guess I dont have it that bad.....


Gino im sure its worth all the money....That boat is beautiful.
