My new Skater
3 Attachment(s)
Well I finally made the deal on a Skater 32b, to say I'm excited is an understatement. I'll be picking it up tomorrow and delivering it to Supreme marine, Troy is going to de-rig it, remove the 2.5's and then re-rig it with new 300xs's with smartcraft. Here are a few pics

Are you going to rerig it with quad 300's? |
No I'm re-rigging with twins
|
Nice boat! I drive by it everyday. I guess the Pantera didn't work out?
|
Hey Lucky
The Pantera deal was about to close and this deal came together and i couldn't pass it up. |
You will really like this boat.
|
Sweet....
|
Anyone have an idea what I should ask for the 2.5's, they have 70hrs total of mostly fresh water and the lower units have just been gone through
|
why only twins

put them on scream and fly, you can probably get about 9-10k each. enough to pay for the 2 300xs
|
Congrats!!!!! Sweet !!!
|
Congrats!
She is sharp looking! I like the idea of going to twins. I have gone from three to two. Less headaches!:drink: Good luck Gerry |
Awesome boat!!
|
Have you run the boat with the four 2.5's, what was that like!
|
Sweet rig.
Good Luck with it. |
Diamond
The boats flat out hauls with the 2.5s however it's a bit stern heavy.until the boat gets above 70-80 the ride is so so as the tunnel gets slapped a little hard. Above that is is great, I have only been in it once and and feel it's manners around the dock, fuel efficiancy and reliability would be better with the 300's..any suggestions Paul |
I agree, the 300xs will be a great choice.
|
nice skater
Congrats on the boat.
Love those outboard cats. Good luck with the 300xs the run great. Eddie |
I know this will get slamed on here. But spend a little time looking at the verado's. They are coming out with a 300hp soon and more hp in the future.
You get power steering, and I think mayfair or someone has the steering worked out, Ocean Performance in NJ was rigging a 32 with them. Also heard a sportmaster gear case was coming. The extra weight between them and the 300xs wont matter on a boat as big as the 32. Curtis |

Nice boat!!
|
That is a very cool 32B! I hear those 300XS's are killer!
Good luck with it! DK |
Beautiful boat! I made an offer on that boat a few months ago. Ended up with a 1999 32 Classic with I/O's. You will have no problem selling the right hand drive engines in the 8-10k range. The lefts will be tough as stand alones unless you sell them really cheap. I reccomend holding out and ONLY selling them in pairs of right and left.
|
I saw it today and she's a beauty for sure.
|
Nice! Nothing like a Skater.
