Default Any Wisconsin OSO'ers

My Fiancee has a job offer in the milwaukee area and I am wondering what the boating scene is like? What about Engineering jobs?

Not sure on market for engineering, I am guessing not a whole lot out there, but hope to be wrong.

Milwaukee is Lake Michigan. And Lake Winnebago, Wis. largest inland lake 40 mi by 10 mi and lot's of river running also.

The Mississippi is 3 hr drive and lot's of running to be had there as well.

Not a whole lot of go-fast's around but still enough to have fun with others. Milwaukee is a nice town, would be happy for you if the move works. Let me know if you need anything and I'll do my best. Take care...Dave

Plus Chicago is only an hour away....close enough to get in trouble in if you feel the need!

The boating scene is good ,plenty of options.

Milwaukee is known as the city of festivals, with something always going on at the lakefront during summer.

Finding an Engineering job should not be a problem, what is your area of expertice?

Thanks for all the suggestions & comments. DT42, The boat looks great in the pics! Scary31, I did here about all the festivals that take place in the summer, sounds cool. As far as what field of engineering, I am graduating this spring with my BS in Mechanical.
Thanks again
Jr.

I think boating in our area offers a decent variety. Another area not mentioned is the Bay side of Door County. And LOTO is only 560 miles away ! It's also been rumored that Scary 31 is going to remove his arch so we might have one more performance boat in the area then ! Steve

Used to live in Mequon....didnt see too many go fasters in the area. Try Chicago for most of the fun, or be the cool kid on the block.
