having recently acquired an interest in our Aussie offshore racing
I thought this may be of interest to you too

the 2006 class 1 season was won by a 2600hp diesel cat designed by Michael Peters Yacht Design of Sarasota, Florida

That's great, love them diesels. I take it they were Sea-Teks, correct me if Im wrong.

What gear ratio and how big were the props? 2 Speed trannies?
