best waterproof speakers I have ever seen are polyplanar. it takes a lot of power to push them but they will absolutely scream... I have a JBL amp now pushing 8 clarions with 2 subs and still doesn't compare to 4 polyplanars with 2 subs... just my .02

Babb speakers are back with their new and improved. They now use neodenium magnets that are smaller for easier install. They handle more power and play louder than ever. I also have Alpine, Bazooka, and am placing a Diamond order next week.

I agree with the JL w6's they are great I have 2 12". but I don't have the room for them in the boat so I bought 2 Memphis audio 8" subs and am happy with them but I am going to add 2 10" this spring if I can fit them in (Memphis audio)

don't get caught up in the marine vs non marine stuff, I've always used car audio and it has always lasted IMO
