Contact Tres Martin. He lives in Ocala now and I am sure he can help or at least point you in the right direction. (352) 620-8737. Here is a link to his web site. http://www.tresmartinperformance.com

Hot Duck thank you I'll call first thing in the am. We lost a hub/wheel and are stuck at a rest stop on I-75 next to Ocala.
Thanks |
I have been in that situation and it is no fun at all. I did a quick search and found a Pep Boys in Ocala. They might have the parts you need. Also, here is a web site I found that lists and rates repair shops in that area. The site also has links to each place with contact information just in case you cannot reach Tres in the AM.

Thanks again HotDuck. I actually found a place called Crown Trailers in Ocala that should be able to help but the more info the better...so thanks.

Here are a few more links that might help. Good luck.

Angel,
Give me a call if there is anything I can do from down here, if ya need something brought up, I work nights, so I can take a ride up in the AM if ya need. Rick |
It is gonna be a long night at that rest stop, but one of these places should be able to get you going again tomorrow. Just a thought, but if you have a tandem or triple axle trailer you can probably strap up the end of the axle (the one missing the wheel) and limp down the road to the nearest hotel. Just jack up the end of the axle and strap it in place. Drop the jack and you are ready to go. If you can do this it would sure beat staying at a rest stop tonight.

Tons of trailer places on the turnpike and so on. Most of them are going to specialize in horse trailers but can probably take good care of ya.

There is a big trailer place just west of I-75 on US27, they mainly do horse and flatbeds, but i'm sure they have the parts.

There are several trailer places in Ocala. I know of one just north of Hwy 27 on Hwy 301. Chain that axle up and limp over there. I always carry a chain in my truck, if not, there is a Home Depot right off 75 at Hwy 200 in Ocala to buy chain. I'm sure there's a Boater's World or something similar in Ocala that will have a hub and a wheel/tire.

I'm about an hour south of you, if you need anything let me know.

Nextrail is in Ocala as well.

Did you get going today?
