Default Canopied Fountain on the Chain

Don't see many boats like this on the Chain of Lakes here in northern Il. I think the guys from Shogren were out for a ride. They had a tight fit under the rt.173 bridge out to Channel Lake.

yes he blasted by my house a few time
I think there are now a couple canopied fountains on the chain wish they would tone them down on the river though
I like the noise but a speed limit will be coming not because they are going to fast but because of the attention (loud) they attract
It will go back to want to be fast or noisy sad but a fact of life

I agree about the river. I have been making a point to keep it slow on the river. Too many windows can ratttle so close to the water. We were out on the little cat this weekend and that boat can cruise at 2000 rpm at 40 mph. Keeps the wife happy too as she can sightsee.

I just got new neighbors (moved from Nappervile) and they are already complaning about noise and speed.

I love the speed and the noise but if they get a limit on any part of the chain it will just spread

Yea, I think that is Scott's old race boat, I heard it was converted to be used as a poker run/pleasure boat.

I wish it was still a race boat!!! I called about it a little too late..

Nope...Dan bought the boat at the end of last summer...he's also got a 38 Fountain fish boat in Hammond. We ran with him a couple times to Michigan City...that sucker cooks. With sealed 525s he saw 104 on GPS, him driving, and Billy Anker on the sticks.
