I will be out of town for my nieces graduation from Rutgers (still looking for a nappy headed ho wig to wear) but will try and be back for the post-run festivities at the Turtle.

JS232 05-04-2007 10:04 AM

Yes, I am still alive.

The boat is sold... And yes... I'm in love :D

I should be around on the 19. At least, I'd like to see all of you at the Turtle. It's been a very special year for me with MAJOR ajustments  :D

I'm back, stronger then ever. As for a new boat for this summer, I still have some work to do before I get there.

I look further for a great time with all of you in a few days.

J-S

I want to let everyone know that is coming to the ride that the Lake has been very high this year and the run is early in the season.

This in mind I would suggest everyone to fuel up on land and not expect to get good quality gas on the Lake this early in the season. It will be either last seasons gas or due to the high water some water might be in the stored fuel close to the lake.

I have blown one engine up with that kind situation a few years back, so please keep this in mind.

We tested the boat yesterday, will be the slowest one there but if its rough we might be able to keep up.:D

If it rains and snows there will be plenty of room, But if it's nice.....It would of been a good Idea to reserve:D .

Went out tonight... Lake was Very clean did not see anything... Had a nice leisurly Cruise....

Kept it at 4000 running 72 mph for about 40 minutes.

I did not see any crap out but it was windy all day so all the stuff was pushed off by the time we went out.

Pic from last year...

drypipetiger 05-07-2007 09:02 PM

Boat looks great GL!

As a boatless wonder it's a tough site to see and the season hasn't even begun...

Now everybody is chasing my title of slowest and smallest... I think my title of oldest is safe though...

See ya on the water,

Just a little over a week. If the weather on the 19th is as good as today's, we're all set.
