need vinyl cleaner????

I had a tree drop some small yellow sticky leaves on my boat and now my vinyl has some yellow stains on it.cant seem to be able to get them off.
so far I have tried the typical vinyl cleaners, fantastik,Mr clean eraser pads, lysol tub and bath cleaner, turpentine, baking soda, with no luck.
has anyone had this problem before??
does anyone know what will get the stains off?
thanks

Those are tough stains. Try Soft scrub with bleach. Then follow up with 303 Protectant.

Soft Scrub With Bleach And Use A Mr Clean Majic Eraser Pad With It Works Great

Use Clorox Clean Up and then let the sun bleach it out. It may take a few applications over a few weeks, but it will come out.

I see you have tried about everything in the arsenal.

I would suggest just leaving it alone for the time being. If you have used all of these different products on this one spot then it has weakened the vinyl. I would put some 303 conditioner on the area and let the sun work its magic this summer.

I will give you one last suggestion though, shaving cream. I know it sounds odd, but sometimes it will get the job done. No scrubbing just spray and sit then wipe off.

Damn you guys use some abrasive stuff on your vinyl (Mr. Clean erasers, soft scrub, etc). I've had real good luck with using wesley's bleche-wite whitewall tire cleaner. It works real well cleaning and isn't abrasive like many of the others mentioned. Be sure to rinse the vinyl real well after cleaning.

jtmiller,

Yeah...I know how some people are sometimes...let me guess, it's the same people who also don't offer to buy lunch or kick in a little $$ for gas too right? Either way...they do get dirty with sunscreen and other misc. gross stuff :).

Good luck with the cleaning!
