Seriously, I've heard it's a GREAT class from everyone I've talked to that took it. I"ve not heard one negative comment.

Tres, tell Glenn Kelly and I say hello when you see him.

I thought I would take the class a year or so ago. Don't remember but he did E mail me back. But I thought I was already a power squadran member , had a passed a safety course , used a GPS unit on board and drove A 100 mph BOAT AT WILL SO WHAT CAN THIS GUY TEACH ME? I read other posts were people said how they learned to dock and how tres did all the driving and they never thought their boat could run that well. So I though screw that for 2500 its not worth it. I do a lot of poker runs and drive fast sometimes . Not saying my boat is the fastest but the potenial for someone to be hurt is a factor. Do you thank know it alls like me that have respect for the sticks that are in my hand should take the course. I think I know when the other guy has more ponys than me and when its time to just cruse home.Just a tought but maybe he could come to a poker run a day early and do a class I would come.

YES!!!
You learned "Rules of the Road" from the PS course.
Tres' course is not even close. You learn how your boats and boats around you handle and perform. You learn how to drive safer, more comfortably, how to see possible spin outs before they happen, how to get out of a capsized boat w/o drowning and SO much more. After taking the class, you can look at a boat running close to you and know what his turning capabilities are and what his next move may be.
You WILL come away a better performance boat driver, safer and confident. The course is worth it!!!!!!!

I enjoyed the hell out of the course. It was really a great time. If anyone is thinking of taking it you will not walk away disappointed.

The "Know it alls" are the ones that would benefit most from this course. It can teach you to drive right, or make a good driver a better driver and safer driver. Ive been boating my whole life, but there is always more to learn and technology has changed over the past few decades. Excellent course. Highly reccomended for everyone.
