again this is a plug, once the mold is finished, this plug will be destroyed

btw, just got word that Arnaldo is moving more into the lighter composite materials for strength and weight savings

What's different about this windshield than the last one?

in the previous builds, the receivers were glassed-in each time, then the dash was glassed-in an order for a windshield was made

this time, its all part of 1 pull from the mold

no difference, except the build is faster

the previous way may have added a couple of pounds due to the body work, but nothing too substantial

the dash, [which is not visible] is also bigger now to accommodate the larger screens

beginning to buff the surface of plug and remove imperfections

the hull below the deck tooling is the C306 widebody 400Rs hull #2

.

the buffing and waxing of the deck plug is complete

the red can is the tooling gelcoat of the mold. the wax (on the black) will allow the separation of the deck plug from the deck mold
