Lemme tell you about one wicked bike...
The nastiest sounding and nastiest looking bike I was ever on (not the fastest) was one built by Craig Erion (Two Brothers Racing) in 1997.
It was a Honda Valkyrie. It was stripped down to the bare essentials then he mounted twin roots type superchargers...one on each side.
Craig and Two Brothers Racing were my sponsor for the 1997 Daytona 200. Craig brought that thing to Daytona and it was a super crowd pleaser. It was parked in front of our garage in the pits and it stopped people cold and all they could do was smile when they saw those roots superchargers mounted on each side. It sounded totally frigging nasty too. It handled like a Boss Hoss, because the superchargers were mounted high, but with the twin sepentine belts running down to the lower center of the engine and huge carbs mounted on each blower - who cared how it handled!
I don't think there's ever been a nastier bike on the street. Rear Wheel HP was about 325 and throttle response was instantaneous.
nasty, nasty, nasty

MrOffshore- I walked around looking for that turbine bike to get a look at it. I saw it ride by twice, well first I HEARD it then I saw it ride by. Riding by it looked like a stock bike. Did you see it up close? Someone said it was a turbine used on aircraft to power generators. Sure did sound cool you could hear that thing from the other side of the track just cruising slowly.
