Superchillers ??
Is this the way to go for a Merc 600 sc or another brand ?
Anyone have any experiences ? |
I've used them many times never had a problem. Check the stack-up dimension as they are rather tall and could be a problem keeping them under the deck lid without scoops.

The Superchiller works, but add 4"s to your vertical dimension.
I am using a Whipple intercooler on my 575 (only 1 5/8"s taller) and it's pretty sweet. Not the easy bolt on they say but it works great and saves a lot of space. Steve |

Anyone have any experiences ? If you have the headroom in your engine compartment they are great. I made the same power with the same pulley running 4# of boost instead of 6#, thus a little easier on the hardware. Once I adjusted the pulley to get back to 6# my guess is I was up about 45-50 HP by what I gained in speed. Boat was a 2000 / 42 Cig Tiger |
