Boating on Lake Huron?

Does anyone have a reccomendation for weekend destinations on Lake Huron or Lake St Caire? I live in detroit, and am looking for some places to visit over the summer.

Thanks

How about Port Clinton on Lake Erie?

I usually just run from Port Sanilac to the blue water bridge, I have considered a trip to Mackinaw, are you thinking US or Canada? Are you looking for a day trip or an overnighter? I know a few guys that would run down to cedar point for the weekend.
