my best friend had the same boat last season we used it as our floating command center slash bar, I drove it a lot when I didnt have mine out and it was nutz to drive fast. I had to use the tabs like they where going out of style to keep it from tilting like crazy, felt like it was going to flip. Overall a nice boat though its a bithc to get to the engine / batterys and watch the waste tank his busted one weekend and it was poopy bildge time. Like you said its a heavy mofo
the front of them are good for this

she does love some tabs....a foot wider and twins would have done wonders for that. The friggin thing is 6500lbs..I figured my Denali would have no problem pulling it but then we wieghed her and she banged 9klbs loaded on the trailer..Things started to make sense all of a sudden.

Funny story but 1st I have to say my Denali is a 99 so it has a transfer case.auto4wd and the typical 4hi/4lo.I still 4lo it out fo the ramp to save that fragile 4L60E.
Here's the funny(maybe)..I went to look at the boat and struck a deal with the old salt. The trailer was close and he needed to go get the title anways so we took the boat for a run brought it back to inspect the bottom..I putit on the trailer and hit the button for 4wd as the ramp was all dirt up there in palatka...I gave her some gas and nothing..little more gas and she crept a bit.Tires started to skip...by now I was almost half peddle and thinking "WTF?".This boat can't be this heavy and this will blow the deal for me.Right about then I noticed I was in 4hi
I kinda lolered a little....hit the button again and up she came like an empty trailer...even better was the fact the ramp dropped off right where the boat got on the trailer.Simply no how was I getting over that hump in 4hi.Add in the fact the boat/trailer was too big for this little **** marina anyways..funny for me afterwards.2 more Corona's at the time.
