Don't know alot about amps, but I just put a Kicker 06zx700.5 in my boat and it sounds great. $311 from www.onlinecarstereo.com.

Did you mean onlinecarstereo.com? If so, I've bought from them once before. Never again....complete bunch of a-holes.

You would do much better to have a 4-channel for your mids/highs(assuming) and a dedicated mono for your sub(assuming again)

D-class amps are the way to go for good healthy power for subs.

You can still use the same power cable with a distribution block for each amp. It'll probably save some amperage loos as well.Plus you will get a better selection of amps that are more suited for each speakers job.Not to mention a better price.

I was checking out Memphis audio marine amp that has both a Class D amp for subs and a a/b amp for mids and highs. THe kicker amp is really nice and they are all marine certified. But if you want something kick ass you will have to get 2 different amps.

Rob,

PM hunster, he's a friend and does this stuff for a living. He can probably help!

Why you need more sound, blower whine too loud? :)

I search Fosgate and MTX and didnt see a 5 channels.

Its for the cabin ,the old Sony sounded fine .Dont have room for 2 amps , The old amp was 11 1/8 X 17 3/4 .the boat was built around this amp:(

I have 4 amps already just for the Cockpit speakers ,so the front cabin doesent need that much.

Ill look in to the Kicker 06zx700.5
