BBC vs. SBC weight
Anybody know off hand the weight differance between a normally dressed Big block chevy verses a Small block ?

Right around 200lbs give or take a few.

I still think the splitter would be a cool set up. Then if it didn't workout you could swap out the big block for your pair of small blocks.

1. a splitter would probably cost as much as that #6 you're longing for.
And... i think the sbc is more than 200lb diff. I vote: sell the shop, and get a pair of ilmor 625s. |
