Default HPI and GGB mufflers

Does anyone know what happened to GGB brand mufflers? I heard they are no longer available. If so, then why?

Also, what about those HPI full time mufflers? Was'nt Mercury using them on their 850 and 1075's? Are HPI's still available??? If so, who is a dealer for them? Thanks alot, I'm trying to find a couple pairs for a friend of mine.

Frank

Frank,
The story I heard was there were some financial issues at GGB and they closed up shop. Lofty is working with someone to make a muffler similar to GGB's but that has been a very slow process. It was suppose to be available end of last year/first of this and so far I have not heard they are ready.

Thanks for the info and the link, guys. I bought the GGB's from rv (Rick) last spring, and they seem to do the job quite well. Last week I started the engines at a friend of mines shop, and when he heard the way they sound, he was interested in putting a pair of them on a customer"s Cig.

I heard rumor that GGB's were not available anymore, and he could'nt find them anywhere. I think the HPI's will work just fine for his application.
Thanks again.
