Active Thunder phased in urethane stringers and "no wood" construction during the 1998 model year.

It depends on the boat, but if you find a 25, 28, or 32 of that vintage, get me a picture, year, location, owner info, and I will find out for you.

which manufactures currently use no wood in their boats of that size?

I'm pretty sure Concept has been wood-free for several years now.

All Velocity VR-1's (28'6") are no-wood. The same hull is used for the 290 SC but with wood coring.
