Damn funny respones everyone.I'm still LMAO as I'm writing this. That Wipple might be the ticket although I'm still figuring this boat out and getting used to it.

I am curious how fast is is boat:eek: . I have run with other boat similar and run them down at both ends.
Hole shot on the SCS is great and with a bone stock top end of 75ish mph it is great on top end for a 23' boat with the multi use hull design

On his speedometer (not gps) it says 70.When I'm at WOT my speedo jumps from 68 to 74 so there is really no accuracy. It's hard to make good power naturally aspirated when your boating at 5500 feet above sea level. My excuse to my brother at this time is the race is really not fair until I find out what my rpm's are at wot....the tach doesn't work but got one on order.

Ahh 5500 feet .. Have you ever had the boat tuned by a shop that can correct for the altitude.. Some will say that the system corrects for it but it is not true. My speedo is about 8 mph off at top end accourding to my GPS

Never had it to a shop for tuning...yet.
I still need to know where my rpm's are at and the tach should be here next week....

Couple questions for you since we have the same boat. What is your engine temp at wot and what is your wot rpm. What type of plugs?
I'm running a Mirage plus 23.Should I try something different.

Labbed Prop.

A three blade prop (such as a Mirage+) is generally about 2 to 3 mph faster on the top end than a bravo. Just depends if you can keep it hooked up.

Keep in mind I am at sea level so that may make a big difference.
My top WOT is generally 5000 RPM with half a tank or less and 46ish with full tank and a boat load of people.
I did a fresh valve job and new exhaust at 190hrs.
The stock prop is a 25P Mirage I found on my boat that the 4blade was same top speed and MUCH better launch.
Dont know if you have this .. but a link to spec sheet

I've always been curious of this matchup.....I would have thought the Scarab would of won.
