Default Got the fever, pretty bad

I am in the market for my first offshore boat. I am looking for a CC boat in the mid 30 range, somewhere around the 35' range. I want the boat for small amount of fishing, mostly for cruising. Want a cuddy with head for the ladies.
I live in South Louisiana, about 1.5 hrs from a launch site, therefore I will trailer. Have a condo in orange beach that is supposed to have a dock space in the bay for boat owners.

I have a F350 diesel dually truck, so i am not worried about the towing of an oversized load.

I have been looking at the Donzi 35zfx, but i noticed it does not have a large seating area in the rear. Wrap around seating in front of the CC.

Also looked at the fountain website. Not sure which one will suit me the best.

Oh, i almost forgot, i like speed. I am looking for a boat that hauls @ss. Somewhere in the 70MPH range.

Any suggestions????

New or Used

Sounds like a Concept would be right for you. There is a good deal on this one.

Actually I think this is the same one. Either way seems real nice. I have a 2007 27' Concept very good all around boat.

I would seriously consider the 2007 32' Concept in post #3. It has demo hours only and the boat is the best deal on a Concept around! The carbon fiber interior is pretty trick too. Here are some better pics of it.

I'd love to see a nice Concept running around down here. Where do you put in?

I agree w/ the concept 32's above.
there are some in the classies here as well.
The new 30(or is it 32) w/ a step is real fast as well.

I would look into the Fountain 38CC with trip 275 for the 70+ MPH or try the quad 300 package for 80+ MPH. Don't worry the fuel milage isn't going to be as bad as you think.

I'm from Texas, but even I know that it's hard to go more than a few miles in South Louisiana without crossing some kind of waterway, or do you mean salt water

There is a freshwater river called Mermentau about 30 minutes from my home. For salt, we go out of freshwater bayou in Pecan Island. I have also been to false river, but was too crowded. I hear that there is a river in Covington that will get you all the way to Lake Pontchartrain.

When in buy, i think i will leave the boat in Orange beach for the winter, and bring back to LA for the early summer fishing.
