This boat? :)

I was coming back from buying a Checkmate Mx 14, and planned to drop it in to run on Lake Monroe. It looked a little small next to the Callan boat. They had been testing in Monroe earlier that day. Nice guys, they let Debbie onboard to check out the cockpit.

The 388 Skater should be capable of close to 200. If it is at 174 now and it has 1200's. The 40 Skater Bad is around the same speed. These are boats that were recently built by Skater with a lot less hp. The new 46's that are due out should be faster.

Is that what you run in your 1997 fountain? I bet that with tommys TT setup thats got to be one fast 35.

Why not drop some "regular motors"- 1075, 1200, 1500 etc- in it to see what it'll do?

YOU should buy one and do that.

It is a shame to see such a beautiful boat be a flop so far and would love to see it run 217MPH tomorrow, however if it sits for another few months or years for that matter it is all the same to me.

Hows it a flop?? because you say it is?
How bout you give me you cell phone number so every time it goes in the water i can call you and make sure YOU know its not a "Trailer queen".
I have been in the boat over 160 plus
It has been in the water many times. I guess it my fault for not coming on here every time it in the water and telling you.. because im sure the owner is real concerned that you think it is a failure

testy....lol i think along with myself that the boat is really bad ass and everyone wanted and again including myself would have love to seen that boat rip off a 200 plus # but it is new and bugs need to be worked out.....so excitement turns into anxiety...i guess:evilb:

174 with 1200's? Seems a bit fast for that power.
