Yes, we took the motor out and broke it down. Thankfully, it is ok, just two leaking headers.

You are right! It is a bad feeling thinking that something could go wrong any minute.

Kirk, Is a bung the same thing as a flange? I have flat flanges and 2" tubes.

nope.there diff kinds of bungs,afr,egt,also boss's and ya need to know the id of the tube and the size of the tail pipe, and the flange on the tail pipem,etc
