An 18-year-old who has been missing since Saturday was forced into her car at a Target store where she had stopped for an errand, police said Monday after seeing a surveillance video of the store's parking lot. Kelsey Smith, who graduated from high school less than two weeks ago, left the store around 7:10 p.m. and had put packages into her car when someone ran toward her, police said. "As she opened the driver's side door, the individual sprinted up behind her and pushed her into the car," said Overland Park Police Capt. Tom Fredrickson. |

$10,000 reward. Wow ! Glad to see that there is so much support in the effort to find her. The family is in our thoughts and prayers. |

Police are currently searching for this "person of interest". The photo above is based on a surveillance tape from Target . He is a white male, 6 feet tall and 175 pounds, perhaps 20-years-old, with dark hair and a goatee. He was dressed in a white t-shirt, black shorts and black Converse tennis shoes. Other surveillance video from Target appears to show someone forcing Kelsey into her car.
Our prayers are with the family!!:( |
