Custom Gauge Bezels Needed
Can anyone suggest someone to do some basic aluminum fabrication?
I'm updating my original teak dash on the Cig and the gauge openings are larger than what the standard bezels will cover. I need 13 gauge bezels with 3" OD and 2 1/8" ID and 2 with 4 1/2" OD and 3 1/2" ID.
Thanks,
TB

I'd try to contact a local machine shop. That's not too hard of a project, and I'd rather try to contract a local guy to in person explain, design, and approve what I would want.
Once that is done, you will want them powdercoated, either in color or clear. Remember the powdercoat will very slightly adjust the opening in the center of the bezel.
Would it be easier to just get a new piece of teak, and drill/cut new holes???

Yup, I thought about the locals and may have to start calling around. Just thought someone had a lead that may have done similar work.
I hear ya on the opening dimension. I opened the ID to 1/8" over the diameter of the gauge for that very reason.
Would rather not cut out the original panels as it's inlayed with black rubber inserts between the teak slats. Other areas of the dash have cleaned up beautifully, just need to restore the helm.
