Anyone have a Merc Tran transmission for a 454/TRS setup?

If you can't find anything locally try:

Doller Marine
BAM
Cobra Power
T N T
Speedmasters, Inc.

I have a totally rebuilt BW C 72 for sale, it's over kill for a stock 454, it's built for 900 +hp, it's built the same as the drivelines that are behind my 1000 Zul's.

Only trouble with using the BW is if he's already set up for the MercTrans he has to move the engine forward almost 18 inches.

[QUOTE=speedo;2157072]you might be referring to a 280 trans. trs trans is a red label b/w.but then again you are the surveyer..

It certainly doesn't mean I know everything!

To me a "MercTrans" is the smaller aluminum-case with the Ford C-6 guts.

If your post was a shot at sarcasm, I sure hope you're correct.

I've never seen or heard of ANY BW being called a "MerTrans".

No, Eric, you ARE a prize!
