The lanyard is hooked to the belt loop of the captain of the boat. The red loop that you see is a KEYCHAIN Einstein.

Looks like someone went to MTI heaven. Great looking hardware. So did BElee show? Maybe next year I'll bring the Scarab. Hope some of these boats make it to Jammin on the James.
