Works great on smaller cuts. Had it happen to OSO bartender Jersey on ASG's boat a couple years ago. Worked great.
As for liability, carcinogens, infections, etc.......... FYI... none of you are getting out of this life alive :) |
have you tried quick-crete yet?:D

Found this but it says dont use it on deep cuts were ya see fatty tissue to see a doctor, what if you cant see a Doc and have to close it your self?I stayed in a Holiday Inn last night I can do it:drink:
http://band-aid.com/liquid_faq.shtml#severe It looks like I need stuff called DERMABOND:eek: But the superglue or a neddle and thread is going to be cheaper:eek: $300.00+ for a tube http://www.best-price.com/procSystem...FQ5HVAodQSqwtw Found this video on how to do it [Histoacryl] http://www.tissueseal.com/video.html |
Too late to close this. The cut must be stitched within 6 hours of the initial injury. The wound must be properly cleaned. Cyanoacrylate(super glue) is a medical tool but not for a deep injury such as this. Don't take a chance as this can be a serious risk for infection!

i used to use it when barefooting. We'd always catch little stuff and nick the hell or something open.. it worked fantastic on the calloused surface of a foot, never really used it on softer skin..
|
I used to use it when I was a UPS driver, the cracks on my hands from the steering wheel in the winter, eventually the new skin would push it out and you could just pull it off like a scab.

A guy did the same thing on the Miami Boat Show Poker Run. Except he didn't cut himself on the prop, but he used super glue as a band-aid. That was the first time I've heard of using superglue until now.

Little known fact, Super glue was invented in WW1 (or WW2 I forget) for soliders to close cuts and wounds ! Only after did they relize a comercial benifit for the glue.
Ever wonder why it bonds skin so fast? ecause it was originaly designed for doing just that! |
