octane for my 1989 330hp 7.4litre?
 

I have been running 91 octane because i live in minnesota and the is the only way to get non-ethanol fuel is to buy the premium. Is it ok to run 87 or 89 octane with ethanol in this engine or am I going to see problems with fuel system componants or gumming up my carb??

I ran 87 and/or 89 octane fuel in my 1989 330hp 7.4L engine depending on what was available. Just make sure you replace the water separator filter more often now that ethanol is in the fuel.

There is an additive you can add to the gas that helps. At the end of the season run it dry.
