looking for a cheap room, room to split etc..the budget is tight right now...

Are you talking OC, Maryland? Sahara motel is downtown and is older, but lower rates. Not sure if HOT DUCK here offers lower rates for members, he has a fabulous location and have stayed there before, very nice. Looks like a beautiful weekend!

Hot Duck's Commander Hotel is full, but we'll all be on the back deck along with Talk Offshore to watch the race.

You are not likely to find anything close to OC this weekend. It is one of the senior weeks, firemen's week, and race week, you can't pack many more people into the city this weekend. Come down, party all night, walk into a hotel and pass out on a couch, they might not see you till morning :D
