Swipes Wipes

Thought it was just hype, something I didn't need, but bought a can anyway. Got to say, really nice product,I will buy more and keep on the boat and in the boathouse.Works better than I expected.:drink:

Here is my unsolicited opinion.

GREAT PRODUCT. They cleaned Sharpie ink off of my Grand Daughter with zero effort, and no tears.
Oh yeah, they work great on my boat as well. I keep them in the condo, on the boat and in my work shed. I have become a believer.

With a can of Swipes, some Mr. Clean Magic Erasers and SoftScrub onboard, you're handled for just about any mess!

kjm5125 06-13-2007 08:49 PM

You should try their Speedy Polish. I've tried just about everything on my stainless exhaust tips and this stuff really works!! :drink: Today I placed an order for more Polish and I decided to try the Swipes. I figured if the Swipes work as half as good as the polish I can't go wrong.

Magicfloat 06-13-2007 08:51 PM

Dano said the Speedy polish was the best he has ever seen, and he's tried a lot of metal polish.

You are so right Chuck.....
When I had my Concept I didnt really use them that often, now with the 400SS I pull the can of Swipes out everytime I get on the boat.....
I have a few cans still in the garage (courtesy of Love Machine and Old School) that should get me through the summer, will buy more in the winter I'm sure....

jayhawk261 06-13-2007 09:05 PM

I just went to order some. The 90 ct package was $19.99, OK, I can take that. Shipping was $12.00??? That seems a bit high to me. Is that what everybody is paying?

I would call and ask. I think that they might have an OSO shipping discount....but I'm not sure. You'll have to ask DannyD.:D :evilb: :D :evilb:

I'm a lover of the Swipes! They work great....and make good gifts when someone gets a new boat!!

CAP071 06-14-2007 06:31 AM

I used the Speedy Polish on My HORN and it worked Great! :drink:

BillR 06-14-2007 07:25 AM

Both the swipes and the speedy metal polish are the best there is.

zitoracing 06-14-2007 08:35 AM

I Ordered two things of swipes have not received them yet and I paid $ 14.50 for freight. The freight I thought was kinda high but Owell I cant wait to try them after hearing this.

kjm5125 06-14-2007 08:04 PM

Yea, I agree their shipping costs are high. They might be keeping their product price point lower and making it up on the shipping. For most people the shipping cost is a secondary concern and they don't pay much attention until the bill arrives.

Magicfloat 06-14-2007 08:51 PM

I think I will get on their program with my logo on the can and give one to each of my new boat buyers. Not a lot of money and may add a little to a positive buying experience.:drink:

the product and owner are tops, as for shipping well worth it i don`t think Dan makes much on shipping POPS ps i think its worth its weight in GOLD

DannyD 08-04-2007 12:42 AM

Thanks for the kind words in regards to product performance. I sincerely appreciate it. Thank you.
Shipping subject. First point, we don't sell shipping. It is what UPS sends back to us. Spelled out, it is based on zip code destination, weight and whether its a busines or residential delivery address. Residential being the more costly of the two.
On SwipeWipes.com, there is a "UPS real time" ship calculator. Its works great if your buying 1 item. If you combine 1 Swipes and 1 Speedy, it thinks your shipping 2 boxes which in turns charges more for shipping. That is a downfall we currently are fighting.
Good thing is now we have tested and fixed this problem on our new technology site www.CleanItSupply.com.
So, for the short term, you can purchase Swipes or Speedy on our new site.
Hope this clears it up and thank you guys for your support!

Danny, do you EVER sleep? 1:48AM I guess when your product is as good as Swipes, it's a 24/7 operation! I have clean all sorts of things with Swipe, including (as my signature says) the grill.

Not really..... :) The only quiet time I get to read here once in a while is late at night. Busy taking and filling orders by day.
