Fire officials believe the three friends spent Sunday night on the brand new 30-foot cabin cruiser
WOW I find it hard to believe that a NEW 30 foot cruiser with a Gen set wouldn't have a detector??

Because carbon monoxide is odorless and colorless, people need to learn to recognize the symptoms of CO poisoning while awake. Lethargy, headache, fatigue, etc.
Where you are really vulnerable is while asleep. It will NOT wake you up like fumes from fiberglass or wood burning. It just puts you into a deeper sleep where you will never wake up.
The tennis pro Vitas Gerulaitas died in his sleep from a faulty furnace dampner several years ago during the winter up North.
CO is produced from the combustion of any carbon-based fuel. Even diesel exhaust is a hazard.
