Default John Crouse's New Book

I was with John last week and he is in the process of wrapping up his new book.....THE LEGENDS OF OFFSHORE.

This will be a follow up to his monumental book SEARACE, the history of offshore racing. This first book is still available at HORBA www.historicraceboats.com

His new book, will cover the multitude of "characters" that populated offshore racing from the beginnng to the later years. He said that he is going to tell the Whole story behind some of these legends.

Is there anyone out there in the OSO community that has connections to a publishing house, that would like a shot at publishing this book?

Please contact me through here or at the HORBA site.

Maybe if there is enough John will get a good publisher and get this project off the ground. The book is around 300 plus pages.

Here is photo of John and Carl Kiekhaefer back in the days.

I'd take 2...1 for myself and 1 for my dad. I believe my dad was mentioned in Searace. He raced a 30 foot Shadow Cat in the early 80's called "Black Duck."

I'll buy one.

It will look good on the shelf right next to Searace.
