You know what I can't stand about these people is they act like they use no fossil fuels at all, nor create any green house gases. It's OK for them to drive down with their kayak in their car for a purely recreational, non-necessary trip, but it's not OK for you to use your powerboat. It's OK for them to use fossil fuels to drive hundreds of miles to go backpacking, but heaven forbid if you tow your boat a few miles to the water.

They love telling everyone else what to do, and then they do whatever they want.

I always catch them in the act now. I ask them, "Did you go on any trips lately?" Then when they descrbe their trip, I ask, "How did you get there without creating any green house gases." That shuts them up.
