Anyone have a used 454 mag they wanna get rid of?
Hey guys. Looks like something in the lower end of my 454 mag carbed engine came apart. So, I am in need of a used stock 454 mag to replace it with. I checked the classifieds, and didnt see what I was looking for, so thought I would ask and see what you guys might have. I know cheap and boating dont go together, but the cheaper the better. Thanks guys.

Yeah, Ill check ebay also, but I was hoping someone here would have something so I dont have to deal with bidding and waiting to see if I won the auction or not. I need one in kind of a rush. Thanks

Are you willing to put it together yourself? I have one in pieces, actually the crank is installed (bearings fitted)

I have a pair of new 540s. I would be willing to split them. Complete from flame arrestor to pan and balancer to flywheel (no accessories)
I can back out any of the parts you don't want or need.
-Gen VI block
-Crower crank and rods
-JE pistons
-Total Seal rings
-Dart Iron Eagle heads with Manley valves, Isky springs, Comp Cams retainers and keepers, ARP studs, Harland Sharp roller rockers
-Crane cam and lifters, Manley pushrods
-Dart intake, Holley 830 carb.,Polished SS flame arrestor
-MSD distributor, coil, and wires
-Polished SS timing cover and valve covers
The above is 13,500, with a warranty. Like I said, I can back out any parts you don't want to save some money.
I can have it ready to ship in a few days. The long block is assembled already, so if you just want it, it is ready.

Thanks Young. Thats quite a bit more than I want to spend right now though. Basically all I really need I think is the lower end. I just had the top half gone through and rebuilt less than 10 hours ago, and now something in the lower end let loose. Im not sure what but its clanking pretty good from down there.
