I'm sitting about 12 feet away from an ICC shifter kart and a vintage trans-am car... Dang, you boat guys are supposed to keep me away from racing not make me want to load up and head to Willow Springs!
I'm getting the itch again badly!!

mike,
you coudl fit in an older mazda, they even had a special "large chassis" for big drivers i'm told. Once you get rolling you really don't need to clutch in these cars.
as for being too tired to run well. That was part of it. The other part was the car was off, and the final part. Ted just ran damn well! He's got skills and I've been trying to talk him into running the complete series next year!

naw ted was further up the field than me by the time my throttle cable went. I kind of had a crap run all weekend. MY setup was WAY off and I was a solid 4 seconds off the front runners pace.
Off track activities were WAY better than on track this year!

FYI it has been suggested that MAYBE my mind wasn't totally focussed......
How often is it that you finish 22nd out of 40 but your sponsors are still thrilled with the results!!!! I'm thinking maybe it had to do with the company in the VIP suite!

With some luck i'll get my car back together (i broke a bunch of stuff at cleveland) and maybe you'll put me a lap down......
Either way i think teh fatboys and I owe you beer and steak at the road house!
