Default How long does gas last?

I have 6- 50 gal drums of VP 112 octane fuel.

I have had it storred out side of my garage for 2 years....
is it still good???

how would I check it?

AHA!! So it was YOU that hijacked that truck!

Seriously, if it was just normal fuel without a stabilizer, I'd say if it smells like varnish it is no good.

However, before I would use it or discard it I would take a sample to the same lab that perfoms oil analyses and see what they find.

VP112 is a good candidate for taking up moisture...
2 yrs is too much... 6 months is tops.
Donīt ask how I know...
No smell test or anyother will do any good... that gas is old but you might get by using it in a lawnmover.

And he stated he stored them Drums outside..thats a NONO with VP Racing fuels..
