From what I heard you can't get your boat into the quay or Holiday Inn because the genuis organizing the event tied up all the slips at both places. maybe next year he can hold the races at night so even fewer fans can watch.

The Quay
I live here in Sarasota & the Quay just got imploded a few weeks ago & it is no longer. The docks were all condemed so to speak, which doesn't leave much for boat parking other than the Hyatt next door. With living here, I can try to do my best to help out with any questions regarding the parties, parades, etc. for you guys. However, I'm heading out of here on Sat. I try to get out of all the rat race...lol...& the weather is going to be questionable here for the wknd.

YES! It's going to be huge, it's going to be awesome.
The Suncoast Offshore Grand Prix is probably one of the best races of the whole year, second only to Key West!
We'll be there!

I will be leaving to view the races from my boat and have a ton of room on it. If anyone get's stuck and can't get there boat out let me know.
If the weather is questionable I will not go out.
