Default Surveyor around Ft. Myers area

Is there anyone around the Ft. Myers area that could possible do a boat survey for me? I know there is Ed and I'll try getting in touch with him.

Thanks.

My Father is the service manager at Gulf X marina on Fort Myers Beach. They have been known to do survey's for people. If you want his number let me know.

Thanks guys.

Ok next question. I don't want to offend anyone so do you tell the salesperson you are going to have a survey done on the boat or does the person the is doing the survey just walk in and do his thing. Never had a servey done on a boat so not know the correct way of going about it.

Thanks.

I would let them know for sure. Usually when I do a deal I will agree on a price the the sales person and then say that it is pending Survey and Sea Trial. Then I just have the survey company call the dealer and schdule the rest.

Absolutely let the sales person know you are having a survey done. It is expected.

SAMS accredited surveyor in the Fort Myers area: Steve Berlin, Independent Marine Surveyors 239-466-7560 I have used Steve on my personal boat purchases.

What are you buying? I hope all goes well for you.

It's a 2005 Baja 275. Here is a link if it works.

http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o15258-en.html

I know he is going to send me an agreement and then I'll sign and then I'll write on there about a survey. I'll also e-mail now and see if he gets it before he sends me the agreement.

Thanks for the help.
