Tom Gentry

Is Tom Genty still alive? I know he was in a real bad accident in 1995 with Richie Powers. From what I understand he was in a comatose state after the accident. I have talked with Richie Powers on several occasions about his racing history but, never had the opportunity to ask about Gentry.

Tom Gentry passed away several years ago :( :( What a huge loss, Rest in Peace Tom.

Tom Gentry never came out of his coma after the accident and was taken off of life support on Jan 15, 1998. He was 67 years old.

Thanks for the information.

I really enjoy talking to the racing legions. Richie Powers is a real neat guy to talk with, man he is down to earth and really appreciates life. For anyone who will be at the Miami Show this month he will be at the Monza Power Boat display inside the convention center. Monza is bring a 28’ and 34’.

Tom Gentry is dead after years of existing in a coma. I think he lasted until last year but am not sure.
