Yeah two weeks ago we were putting a 454 in a chapparel and rushed ourselves. We forgot to put the plugs back in the block. When we fired the engines at the dock here came the water.

Second season, first time out with my first boat.
Had it winterized by the marina.
Forgot to close all the exhaust manifold drains. Steam everywhere - thought I was on fire.

I think everyone has left the plug out once or twice, I did it and parked the truck, it was a 2 min walk and I came back to both pumps shooting out the side, there was no way to get the trailer under it so I used the spare I had, and always have. I jumped in the water and put it in finger tight and then tightened it out of the ramp. The two pumps kept up and the water was rushing in like a fire hose. Always have two or more pumps. In series to run together.
