What day of the weekend does everyone prefer?
Ok, I've been wondering this for a while so I figured I'd ask...
I do the main part of my boating on Saturday's. Sunday's are usually local so I can chill out and rest for work on Monday. We make trips on Saturdays and usually spend Sundays rafting with friends..
It seems most people I know and see on water do the majority of their boating on Sundays.... I'm talking trips, not just running place to place locally.
What's the consesus? Why on Sundays? Do most people take off on Monday to recoop??

I guess the 6 days a week seems to be a major factor...
I'm guessing retail or service industries??
When I was a mechanic at the marina I alternated Saturdays. Back then we didn't travel on Sunday, we stayed local because come Monday I had to lift outdrives and cylinderheads all day long......
Nowadays, Saturdays are empty on the water. We kind of enjoy it because we don't have to deal with the crowds as much. Can't beat boating during the week though...unfortunately not an option for us.

Ditto for me / us, although I typically work from "home" on Fridays. I just didn't say which "home" office I am working from - leave for lake house Friday am. for us! Blackberry's are the best!

I guess this brings up another couple of questions...
What time does everyone start their day? I usually get down to the marina around 10:30-11 am, fuel up and we're off by 11:30 - 12.
What time do you get back to the dock? If we stay local I come home whenever we feel like but, if we travel we try to leave the place between 3-5 pm so we can get home by 6-7.
