If you want the more quite part of the lake go to Long Creek or Shell Knob. If you want more boats around hit the Dam to Kimberling city area. Are you staying on the lake or Branson? Lots of places to stay just depends on your budget. Let me know and I'll help you narrow it down it's a big lake.

I like to stay around kimberly city. They have ahoys and the bearded clam for food and drinks. The water is freaking beautiful. You can stand on the dock and read the part numbers on the prop in the water.

Get a room at rock lane lodge at indian point is an alternative that isnt too far from K-City by land or water. The Chateaux is in Branson and is nicer, but isnt close to K-City by land. You can always stay at the Kimberling Inn, but honestly there are better room available IMO. Just try to stay in one of those places and you will be able to boat to all the fun spots and still be close to amenities. It is a beautiful, big, lake.

Looks like we're headed down to the lake for the 4th. It will be a 4 day stay so we'll have time to check out the lake. Does anyone have a list of the places to check out? GPS coordinates would be great.

I know a lot of people that stay at the Kimberling Inn if you just want a hotel. If you want a quiet place just around the corner from the Kimberling bridge by water, the Bar M resort is a nice place that is kind of secluded. They have condo's and cabins as well as RV and camping spots and is resonable. It's small though, which is what I like about it.
